TVS has been very close mouthed about its upcoming products and launches, there still lies many products in the queue that are yet to be revealed. And now many people have witnessed the launch of TVS Radeon 110cc.

The bike is targeted at semi-urban and rural markets that promise strong growth and will take on a host of offerings from Hero MotoCorp and Honda Two-Wheelers in the 110 cc segment.This new commuter bike features loaded and more premium in its looks and styling than the TVS bikes of this segment.

The Radeon has a single cylinder air cooled 110cc engine which displace about 8.3bhp at 7,000 rpm and peak torque of 8.7Nm at 5,000 rpm. This is the same engine as the TVS Starcity+. This engine is mated to a five speed gearbox. There was an expectation that it will be a 125cc scooter, but that didn’t happened.

The TVS Radeon 110cc comes with Synchronised Braking technology. This according to TVS is a segment first and increases braking control. TVS also states that this technology minimizes the risk of skidding.

The commuter bike is based on an all new chassis and gets a single cradle tubular frame. The customer base for the TVS Radeon is small town or rural India in the age group of 25 to 35 years.There are no disc brakes on offer on this bike. Front and rear drum brakes only. There’s no ABS offered at this price point.

TVS Radeon 110cc Design & Features

The TVS Radeon has a load of great features like fully digital instrument cluster. A whole new design of the bike with styling cues borrowed from the TVS Apache line-up. There are tubeless 17-inch alloys too. The bike has an electric start system. Some features that are  completely new and first time seen in the segment could be a connected and dedicated application for the bike. It also have a navigation system of some kind. The Radeon has a comfortable big seat. The bike gets a element on the side of the fuel tank like a cruiser bike.

The Radeon arrives into a segment that sells well and is always been good to products that are awesome performers. It’s main competition is the Splendour. This bike is doing well and is the king of the hill. The TVS Radeon is set to be sell 2 lakh units in the first year of it’s sale. Let’s see how far does the statistic goes?
