The Soulful Bike Wanderers of India!
We always wonder about the road less travelled, but these guys has not left even a single inch of the roads on their bike in India which is not travelled by them.
A pair of clothes, some travel essentials, camera and undying love for travelling, where the two boys have recently travelled 30,000 km in 300 days across India in their Royal Enfield Bullet and is still going on.
They started on December 27, 2014, from Mumbai, hit Goa, planned to only do a tour of South India but ended up travelling all over the country. Till now they have covered more than 13,000 km – 8,500 km of South India, hiked the highest peaks of Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, camped at vast plateaus of the Deccan region, hogged street food, and spent nights conversing with strangers.
The journey began despite the fact that Deepak used to ride only from 5 am to 11 am as he was working as a software tester. Deepak worked out of temples, gardens, beaches, mountain tops and even highways on his bike.
Love for Travel
Since they after covering most of the South India they headed towards the western part of India to cover Gujrat and Rajasthan and are still planning to cover the Northern part, Bhutan and South East Asia on their bike. Not only this, they had some beautiful experience over the roads, they learnt some very important things about the kindness of people you meet on the road. At places they couldn’t find lodging, the locals usually helped them out with food and shelter.
They rode through some of the toughest terrain, braving rain, cold and intense fog, saw some beautiful sights, ate some amazing food and had some unmatched experiences. Keeping costs to the bare minimum, these guys managed to do something the rest of us only dream of.
Some of us plan our journeys ahead in life with things that matter to us, where others like Deepak and Bhishma live them to the core of their hearts.
Just another hopeless writer who whirl feelings into words!
