Tata Tiago XZ+ the latest variant launched

Tata Motors has extended the Tiago portfolio with the addition of a new top-of-the-line variant called the XZ+. Available in both petrol and diesel guise, the XZ+ trim adds two new colors. Comes with Canyon Orange and Ocean Blue. Apart from getting a dual-tone paint scheme with a glossy black finish on the roof.

 

 

Tiago range is the new top-end variant with additional features and enhanced exterior treatment. It is priced at Rs 5.57 lakh for the petrol version and Rs 6.31 lakh for the diesel model. The Tata Tiago XZ+ has been added to the range as the new flagship variant of Tata’s popular hatchback. The changes are comprehensive enough to catch people’s attention, and the price hike is small enough to make them consider buying it.

Design & Feature 

It has come up with the tone exterior option, Glossy black roof & spoiler. Also, the headlamps get projector units with a smoked black finish. Along with the body side molding, and a chrome insert on the tailgate. In terms of features, the Tiago XZ+ now gets electric ORVMs. With welcome function, automatic AC, full fabric seats, and knitted roof.

 

 

Also part of the package is a seven-inch ConnectNext touchscreen infotainment system. With Harman music system and Android Auto. The XZ+ also comes with four tweeters, voice recognition, and notification readout. This essentially adds a black roof and roof-mounted spoiler but is limited to the Berry Red, Pearlescent White. And the exclusive Canyon Orange and Ocean Blue colors. The Titanium Grey and Espresso Brown colors cannot be had with a black roof or spoiler.

Engine

The Tiago XZ+ is available in both the 1.2-liter Revotron petrol engine and 1.05-liter diesel. Revotorq engine which is mated to only to a five-speed manual gearbox while the AMT is in the option. The Tiago is offered with two engine options a 1.2-liter petrol engine and a 1.05-liter diesel unit. The petrol motor produces 85PS of power and 114Nm of torque. While the diesel engine churns out 70PS and 140Nm. Both engines are mated to a 5-speed MT.

 

 

The Tiago is also available with a 5-speed AMT, but it’s only offered with the petrol engine. Also, The transmission is the same five-speed manual only with no choice of AMT in the Tiago XZ+. Mechanically, the Tiago XZ+ remains identical to other variants.1
