Mahindra Marazzo – scheduled to arrive on september 3 in India.
After a long wait, Mahindra Marazzo MPV will finally be launched in India on 3 September. Derived from Basque, a sublanguage of Spanish, the word ‘Marazzo’ means shark and is linked to the vehicle’s shark-inspired design, the company said. Based on an all-new monocoque platform with the largest footprint for a Mahindra till date. Moreover, the company claims that the MPV comes with a patented architecture to offer a unique balance of smooth ride, agile handling, space and a quiet cabin.
Mahindra had already revealed last month, that the Marazzo will be offered with a new engine option, the company has not given any major clues about the car. It is believed that it will be a 1.6-litre diesel engine from the Falcon series that the company has been working on for quite some time now. The engine is expected to come mated to a six-speed manual and an optional six-speed automatic transmission. A petrol engine option is expected to be introduced in due course of time.
