Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has achieved its target over 1 lakh units of the Honda CB Shine motorcycle till August 2018. The total sales traveller recorded is 1,08,790 units as against 94,748 units in the same month last year.in It’s the highest ever monthly sales registered by the Honda CB Shine and CB Shine SP. In the 125cc segment, the commuter has increased the company’s market share from 6 percent to 52 percent.

The Japanese two-wheeler maker claims that the every second 125cc motorcycle customer in India is choosing only CB Shine brand. And it the only 125cc motorcycle brand in the country whose sales continue to grow positive in April to August 2018. In August 2018, the company registered 14 percent year-on-year growth with total sales of 4,95,315 units as compared to 4,32,984 units in the same month last year. Powering the Honda CB Shine is a 125cc, single-cylinder engine that dishes out a peak power of 10.3bhp and 10.3Nm of peak torque. While the Honda CB Shine is currently available at Rs 57,397, the Honda CB Shine SP costs Rs 63,000 (all, ex-showroom Delhi).
