The All-New Force Gurkha ABS Launched In India, 2019
The Gurkha ABS in the Indian market. Prices for the updated Force Gurkha off-roader starts at Rs 11.05 lakh, ex-showroom (Delhi). Bookings for the ABS-equipped Force Gurkha is now open across its dealerships in the country.
Price Of All New Force Gurkha ABS
The Force Gurkha is available in a range of three variants — Xplorer, Xtreme and Xpedition. The three variants are further available in either a three-door or five-door formats. Force has updated the X-plorer three-door, Xplorer five-door and Xtreme three-door variants with ABS. The three models are priced at Rs 11.05 lakh, Rs12.55 lakh and Rs 13.30 lakh, respectively. Force is yet to update the Xpedition model with the mandatory safety feature.
Features Of All New Force Gurkha ABS
Feature of The Gurkha Xtreme is that it is available in only the 3-door version that seats six people. It measures 3,992 mm in length, 1,820 mm in width and 2,075 mm in height. Force Motors has optimally tuned the front and rear suspension for enhanced ride and handling. Compared to the Xpedition grade, the Xtreme grade offers a better approach angle, departure angle and ramp over angle, measured at 44°, 40° and 30° respectively. The off-roader offers a ground clearance of 210 mm and a water wading depth of 550 mm. The Force Gurkha Xtreme can negotiate gradients up to 40° in Low 4×4.
The Exterior of all new Force Gurkha ABS
All the new features of force Gurkha abs has a Mechanical front and rear differential locks. Apart from the inclusion of ABS, not much has changed on the Force Gurkha that continues to draw power from the 2.2-litre diesel engine with 138 bhp and 321 Nm of peak torque. The motor is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The base variants draw power from the 2.5-litre diesel engine with 84 bhp on offer.
The top-level Xtreme variant gets a bunch additional kit on offer including LED turn indicators, new steel bumpers at either end, thicker footboard and new ORVM decals. The off-roader gets a manual differential lock on both axles, along with a snorkel and protective shielding for the engine underbelly, fuel tank and propeller shaft joints. All the other features are to be updated soon.
